Wuhan Zhongde Psychological Hospital

Wuhan Zhongde Psychological Hospital is a non-profit specialist mental-health hospital (private non-enterprise unit, registered with the Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau; supervised by the Wuhan Yangtze River New District Health Commission). It was co-founded in 1988 in Jiang'an District, Wuhan, together with Prof. Heinz Klette, former president of the German Society for Social Psychiatry, and his wife Rosa Klette, with the first Chinese president being Zeng Qifeng.

What we provide (outpatient services)

• Psychiatric outpatient assessment — first visit ~30 minutes, followed by a written care plan.
• Psychological counseling — individual, couples/family and adolescent sessions (from 600 CNY per 50-min session; senior counselors from 1,000 CNY).
• Non-drug intervention center — rTMS (neuronavigation), tDCS, HRV biofeedback, VR cognitive training, circadian light therapy, sandplay therapy.
• Psychometric assessment — standardized scales from 25 CNY/person; AI-assisted assessment from 180 CNY.
• EAP for organizations — workplace mental-health lectures and screening programs.

Care pathway

① Phone/WeChat appointment → ② first-visit assessment → ③ individualized plan → ④ intervention → ⑤ regular re-evaluation. Clinical research suggests that regular sleep-wake routines and moderate daylight exposure support mood and sleep stability.
